Greater efficiency through intelligent building modeling, optimized process planning, and advanced design tools
Building modeling
A new feature simplifies the import of BIM data (IFC) to incorporate external building models, including their structure, and provides access to key model structures and the horizontal section directly within the layout.
In addition, the creation of openings in walls and ceilings is now better supported, allowing for the precise representation of openings such as doors, windows, shafts, etc.
Process modeling
The usability and clarity of process modeling have been improved. Especially when dealing with more complex workflows, users can arrange process steps in a specific order, highlight them with colors, and place multiple elements together.
Material flow
Process information can now be imported directly from existing projects. There is no longer any need to use a spreadsheet as an intermediary. This allows users to reuse existing processes, structures, or metadata across projects and integrate them into new projects more quickly.
Interfaces
The import functions have been improved: Single-color 3D models can now be colored during import, STEP files with Complex_Triangulated_Face are supported, and CAD files can optionally be imported as graphics. PDF import has been optimized.
New export and output options have been implemented, including saving the print area, CAD export in imperial feet, and high-resolution 2D and 3D export as graphics.
Productivity
Multiple selection has been enhanced. When multiple areas are selected, their areas can be set simultaneously, and elements with the same name can be renamed in unison.
Dimensioning has been optimized: The size of the dimension arrows automatically adjusts to the text size.
Snapping has been improved.
Modules can now be optionally welded together as soon as they are created.
